User Experience (UX) Explained For Best Practice Website Creation

User experience is the focus of having a deep understanding of its users, what is needed by users, what a user values, user abilities and limitations. User experience also takes a groups business goals and objectives into consideration when they are managing a project. UX is best known for promoting the standards of users interference with and product perceptions and any similar services. UX has multiple factors to make sure that users find value in what is being provided for them. In order for users to have a relevant and valuable user experience it is important that user experience is useful and must be original. The site must also be easy to use. It must be desirable and include images, an identity, a brand as well as other design elements which are used to bring forth emotion and appreciation. A website must be findable. It is important that the website can be navigated and located onsite and offsite. The website must be accessible particularly for people with disabilities and credible. Users must be able to believe what they are told. There are also multiple areas that relate to building the user experience. Due to UX still being a growing field that is still in the process of being defined it is important to create a successful user-centred design which surrounds the principles of human-computer interaction and includes areas such as project management which focuses on the planning and organisation of a project and its resources as well as identifying and managing the use of its lifecycle and applying it to a user-centred design process, putting the project team together and expertly leading the team through each phase until the project is complete. Another area is user research which focuses on understanding the behaviour of a user as well as their needs and their motivations through observation techniques, their task analysis and their other feedback methods. Another area is usability evaluation which focuses on how a user learns and uses their products to accomplish their goals as well as how a user is satisfied with their processes. Another area is information architecture which focuses on how information is organized. The next area is user interface design which focuses on what a user is expected to be required to do and makes sure that the interfaces elements are easily accessible and understandable. Afterwards is interaction design which focuses on the creation of engaging interactive systems with well planned behaviours. There is also visual design which makes sure your website has an artistic interface that is linked to the brand goals. The next area is content strategy which is about writing and organizing the sites content and planning its creation. The next area is accessibility which focuses on disability access to a website and the final area is web analytics which focuses on collecting, reporting and analysing website data.

Many stages of design process are considered during UX design. A human centred design approach is taken during each of these stages of UX. UX design process is about the consideration of peoples needs in which they are designing the website for as well as thinking of a wide range of solutions in order to fix the problems that they are facing, the designing of prototypes to be tested by users and lastly placing the best solution for users. When looking at the issue from the users point of view and with the user in mind when designing, a web designer will create a solution they will want to keep. It is important for a designer to understand a users pain points. UX is about the improvement of a users experience the first thing a designer must do is figure out the challenges and expectations of users are so that they are able to solve them. Designers must also be empathetic when designing a website. When designing a website they will be working with users who come from multiple different backgrounds and have different experiences so it is important that a designer understands why a user behaves the way they do. Instead of trying to change the behaviour of a user or influence it they must accommodate it with the product. Interviews and online surveys are an important part of UX design as these are what is used to get to know how a user interacts with a website and what a user would expect from one. This is a way of getting feedback for your website. After these are done it is important to create user personas. User personas are mini personas that are based on a designers ideal customers based on data and research. These user personas make it easier to understand existing and prospective customers in order to customise products and services and content as well as messaging to meet certain needs, behaviours and concerns.
